Some days, I genuinely have to pinch myself because my job takes me to the most incredible places, and Soughton Hall was no exception. Steph and Will trusted me with the honour of capturing their wedding day in October 2024, and what a day it was!
As far as autumn days go, it was nothing short of perfection. The sun shone brightly, the air had that crisp, refreshing feel that makes autumn so magical, and I couldn’t help but do a little happy dance as I drove up the long, sweeping driveway to this grand and beautiful hall. It was one of those moments where everything felt right, and I knew it was going to be a truly special day.
Soughton Hall is a stunning Georgian country house nestled in the heart of the Welsh countryside. Surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens, towering trees, and elegant architecture, it’s a venue that feels timeless and romantic. Every corner offers a picture-perfect backdrop, making it an absolute dream for wedding photography.
nside Soughton Hall, the magic just kept coming. Steph and Will thought of every little detail, and their personalities shone through in everything from the flowers to the table settings. The ceremony was full of so much love and laughter, and watching them exchange vows surrounded by their closest family and friends was so heartwarming.
The golden light streaming through the windows added an extra layer of magic to the day. Guests mingled, laughed, and celebrated, and the atmosphere was just so warm and joyful. Steph and Will’s connection was undeniable—they shared so many sweet moments, from little glances to big belly laughs, and it was an absolute joy to photograph.
