About Me
Hi there! I’m Katy—a lover of PJs, Netflix binges, and coffee that’s almost always gone cold (thanks, kids!). I’ve been married to my husband for (almost) 19 years, which basically makes us experts at finishing each other’s sentences—and snacks. We’ve got two brilliant kids who keep life chaotic and hilarious in the best ways.
When I’m not photographing love stories, you’ll catch me having full-on conversations with my plants (they’re thriving, by the way) or pinning Pinterest projects I’ll absolutely never get around to doing. Life’s a bit messy, a lot wonderful, and I’m here to capture it all—especially the love-filled, laughter-packed moments you’ll want to treasure forever.
My goal? To capture your memories in the most natural and relaxed way possible. I know being in front of the camera can feel daunting, but I promise to make it fun and effortless.
My photography journey started with a simple love for capturing the world around me—particularly flowers. I got my first camera at 21 (a film camera, not digital—I really am that old!) while traveling the world after university. I’d love to travel more now, especially without being limited to just 24 or 36 exposures—I had so many rolls of film to develop!
I turned my passion into a career when my daughter, Phoebe, was born. I shared so many photos of her on social media that people began asking me to photograph their families, and before I knew it, I was capturing my first wedding in 2005.
Since then, I’ve photographed hundreds of families, countless weddings, and even had my work featured in Vogue Italia. I’m also a Rock My Wedding recommended supplier, and in 2023, I was a finalist in The Wedding Industry Awards.
Before taking the leap into full-time photography in 2023, I spent 15 years as an eCommerce manager, creating and developing websites for the gift industry. That background has fueled my passion for branding photography, and I love working with small businesses to bring their brand stories to life. It’s an area of my business I’m excited to grow!
Beyond photography, I’m a mum and wife. I have two amazing kids, Phoebe and Arthur, and two equally chaotic golden retrievers, Bella and Pumpkin. I’ve been married for 18 years, and life is busy—but I wouldn’t change it (well, maybe I’d add a little more sunshine and a few more holidays!).
