Wedding Photography & Highlight Films

I’m a photographer first and foremost, but I also love bringing movement into your wedding day through short highlight films. Think of them as little story-driven keepsakes rather than full feature films. I’m not a traditional videographer – I don’t capture every speech or full ceremonies – instead I create artistic, emotive snippets that piece together into a film that reflects the atmosphere of your day.

Every couple, every wedding, every film is different. Some are fun and upbeat, some romantic and cinematic, others heartfelt or a mix of all of the above. It really depends on you and how your day unfolds. What I deliver is my perspective of your story, seen through my camera, then woven together afterwards into a film that feels true to you.

What hybrid shooting means

Hybrid means I’m switching between photo and video throughout the day, so you get both without having a full camera crew following you around. I don’t record continuous footage or audio – instead I capture short bursts (around 10 seconds at a time) that are later crafted into a highlight film. If you’re looking for a full-length documentary-style film with speeches and ceremony recorded in full, I’d always recommend booking a dedicated videographer.

What you can expect

​

• A teaser film (around 1 minute) as a little glimpse into your day.

• A main highlight film (10–12 minutes on a full day package).

• If you’ve booked by the hour, a rough guide is about a minute of film per hour of coverage.

I can sometimes set up a tripod to capture speeches in full (space and timings allowing), and these raw files can be included in your gallery, but they won’t be part of the highlight film itself.

Is hybrid right for you?

This works best for couples who:
 

• Don’t want the pressure of a big camera crew following them all day.

• Love the idea of a short, watchable film but know they’d never sit through an hour-long version.

• Have a budget that doesn’t quite stretch to both photo and video separately.

• Want something creative, heartfelt and fun rather than a Hollywood-style production.
   

My highlight films are designed for couples who want a beautiful, modern keepsake – the essence of your day in motion – without losing the relaxed feel of having just one photographer around.
