On the 18th August 2018, I travelled down Cardiff to capture the wedding day of Lorna and Richard. Lorna and Richard had already done the 'legal bit' in a registry office in Wrexham as Lorna's father is too poorly to travel, an honour for him as he still got to walk his daughter down the aisle. So Lorna and Richard had asked me to capture the celebration day, their wedding day.
The wedding was at the beautiful Dyffryn Springs, about 25 minutes south of Cardiff City Centre. They had a celebrant take the service which was a first for me, but it was just wonderful as the celebrant talked about Lorna and Richard and how they met and their journey to this point in their life. It was super personal which I loved as it captured their personality.
The day was heavily focused on the fun parts of a wedding, there wasn't any waiting around, the time was all accounted for. With 37 children in attendance, they hired children's entertainment in the form of a creche! Wow that was a good idea! The kids loved it and they were very much part of the day.
So here are the best bits, hope you enjoy.
Much love, Katy x
