For a second weekend in a row I was back at the beautiful Sweeney Barns. This time it was for the lovely Juliet & Jase.
The day was a scorcher! The drinks flowed as did the conversations and you could see how loved the couple really are.
I arrived at The Sweeney where Juliet along with her daughter Jess and her beautiful niece Amelie were getting ready. Love this part of the day! I spend time photographing all the little things like perfume, jewellery, shoes etc . I think it's important to capture this as it's part of what makes the day special.
Once ready we headed to the barn where Juliet's father walked her down the aisle. It was such a beautiful ceremony which was followed by gin cocktails and canapes in the grounds whilst I captured the group shots.
Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances Juliet was unable to partake in the remainder of the day. In all honesty I wasn't sure whether to mention this part, but I wanted to credit Jase and the family on how well they all came together to continue with the celebrations. Sean and the team at The Sweeney worked with the changes, and just as Juliet asked, she wanted the guests to still celebrate.
The speeches took place via facetime, and whilst it wasn't what they expected, they were received with love, laughter and applause as they were delivered.
I truly wish Juliet and Jase a lifetime of happiness and it was a pleasure to be part of the day.
