This wedding was more than just about two people getting married, this wedding was about two families joining together. Mandy and Lee contacted me in November of 2018 to discuss their day. They told me how they just wanted their very nearest and dearest with them to celebrate. They talked about how they met and how Mandy had lost her late husband 5 years previously. It was clear to see how much they are in love and how much their families meant to them. This day was about celebrating their love, strength, courage with their family & friends.
True to British summer weather, the met office gave possibly one of the worst weather forecasts I had had to date for a wedding. But the day wasn't about the weather, and it didn't stop them from having a special time. I was very grateful for a lovely guest who sheltered me with an umbrella as I embraced the elements! We were however very lucky that at 2pm the sun shone. We had about 40 minutes to get outside and capture what we could, the pressure was on! We did it and we got some beautiful images, here are a few of the highlights from the day at Sweeney Hall.
