Emma & Will, The Next Chapter

Crikey, what a day! As soon as I found out Emma and Will had got engaged I wanted to capture their day.. and to my absolute honour they picked me to do just that!

So I met Will and Emma about 7 years ago at Morton Holiday Club where my daughter Phoebe was attending . I could tell that they had a connection, you could see it. So it wasn't a huge surprise to learn that they were infact dating!

Fast foward 7 years, 3 rearrangements and an Iron Man suit, the day was here! I wanted to do my absolute best (which I always do try to anyway) but the pressure was on when it's someone you care about and someone you've known for a few years.

On Saturday 14th August 2021, I headed out into the the middle of nowhere, to a farm near Newtown to find 1 bride and 6 bridesmaids (lovely number for symetary) .

Every person I met that day welcomed me, I didn't feel like I was there to do a job, I felt like I was part of the day.

From a farm in Wales we headed to Emma's hometown of Manafon so Will and Emma could say their vows infront of so many people that loved them. There wasn't a dry eye in sight. Emma looked absoutely breathtaking, not a (rogue n***le in sight ) don't ask!

The Vicar had taught Emma at primary school and was affectionately known as the rainbow vicar, she did the most loveliest service and there was actual singing, one of the many things Covid took away from us!

The church errupted when they sealed their vows with a good old kiss and cuddle. So many happy faces wishing them a lifetime of wonderful memories.

I am not a writer by any stretch of the imagination, and as both Emma and Will are teachers, I fear the red marker pen! However, I could write about their day all day long. I will spare you too much more, but I had to mention the speeches. Just wow! Groom and Bestman, you guys nailed it! Not a dry eye in the house, even the cake was in tiers! (sorry). But honestly it was heartfelt, funny, moving and metaphorical - both of them delievered them so so well (I have seen a lot of speeches over the years)

So before I go on anymore, I want to wish Mr & Mrs Taylor all the love in the world whilst they begin their next chapter together as husband and wife.

Much love, Katy xx
